Dreams Start With Patience Newsletter #7
Every single interaction you have online will build or tear you down.
What direction do you decide to go towards?
Life is a matter of polarization, you get to determine your perspective on situations when they present themselves to you.
Personally, I never allow myself to comment on social media
UNLESS - if it is a matter of building someone up
Spreading positivity in the online photography space has led me to some incredible friendships with others.
To me, the most intriguing thing in the world is figuring out through time what inspires and balances those who are deemed creative by society.
Having the audacity to ask novel questions is a great way to start a connection with someone and make yourself stand out.
Tip: My favorite thing to do recently is ask why and how?
Why does this person capture my attention?
How did they achieve this level of creativity?
Why do they constantly create “good vibes”?
It’s fairly simple, yet why and how will get you incredibly far when it comes to communication and relationships.

2 Ways to Network
Support the photographer/creative in an authentic way. (Cheap compliments do not get you very far if you’re not being real)
Some of the best friendships I’ve created come from buying art from another photographer - vice versa rings true.
I love people who take my art seriously, as a creative it is the greatest feeling in the world.Be consistent with support on social media for a period of time, especially with small artists. They will recognize it - without a doubt.
Eventually - consider a DM to this person about one of their pieces.
The trick here is to BE GENUINE
Remember in order to build a network with photographer’s it comes down to
A) Being a good person overall
B) Confidence in your artistic ability
C)Buy someone’s art - it’s good for the soul
