Navigating the Maze of Life: Breaking Free from Perfection and Comparison
How I Broke Free from Perfection and Comparison

It’s easy to believe everyone around you has it figured out.
From health, business, and even the pursuit of joy.
It’s hard to perceive a life where you’re ahead in the race.
The pain comes from the belief that things are supposed to be easy.
You have to get this through your mind.
You have nowhere to be.
You have nothing to lose.
You are ready for death at any time.
Our silly little minds come to a ridiculous conclusion about the world and reality.
Nothing is set in stone. The only truth to exist is one born of chaos and rebirths.
You’ll spend years of your life grinding away, just for no one to remember the effort and sacrifice.
You’ll be hated by many and loved by others.
There will be difficult trials and challenges ahead that make your ears ring and your vision blurry.
The risks and uncertainty will stress you out more than you expect.
And the fact you’ll never truly know what you’re doing is something you have to come to terms with.
But on the other side?
You can change a lot of fucking lives.
Even if you’re a nobody.
Even if you’re a drunk, incapable of wiping your own ass.
All it takes is the belief that you’ll be better tomorrow than you were today.
Let’s break it down.
With your health, you can make better choices.
With your business, you can choose to work both smarter and harder.
With happiness? You’ll begin to realize more and more how much of a choice you have.
If you focus on those 3 domains of life, you will improve the lives of others as a byproduct of becoming the best version of you possible.
But it’s easy to compare your life to someone else’s.
There’s never been a time in human history where we can peer into the minds and lives of others until now.
The human brain is not capable of handling all of the insanity that is social media.
The advancement of technology and social networks has had an incredible impact on our lives.
The downside is it’s placed many of the people who grow up with the internet into a constant state of “I’m not good enough”
It’s the attention economy for a reason and more than ever people are placing their self-worth into the hands of giant tech algorithms.
It’s all bullshit noise, and I know so many people who experience this problem.
Nobody has it figured out.
Because the big question still hasn’t been answered.
The advice I can give you…
And you better listen.
Don’t label yourself.
Don’t over-consume garbage (both physically and mentally)
And create things that you can be proud of.
The internet is forever, don’t do stupid shit that will affect your future kin just for 15 minutes of internet clout.
You can create a subtle reframe when it comes to using the internet.
2 things:
Don’t mindlessly scroll and don’t negatively interact with others.
Use the networks to uplift, engage, and inspire through teaching and connecting with the world.
Focus on what you can control, and remember you are on the right path because it’s YOUR path.
